Who is the target audience?
The easy answer is intermediaries. But is there a particular section of the b2b market you’d like to capture through your video? What current groups of brokers are untapped and should you attempt to be reaching them? Perhaps your message should be more inclusive to grab the attention of solicitors, accountants and other business service providers and their client bases, too?
Who is going to feature in your video?
Will it purely be the CEO of the business who has his/her five minutes of fame? Introducing the various ‘faces’ of the business through visual marketing mediums can be extremely effective. In addition, recorded client testimonials give you the added edge over the competition.
Where will your video take the viewer?
Getting to know the inner workings of a business through visiting where the magic happens, exploring the various company departments and seeing the team in their natural element is great, but, in our market, site visits, property valuations and borrower meetings are integral to daily life, so it may be a good idea to involve the viewer in that aspect. If your BDM is on the road a lot, perhaps film him in his car; or pop in a portion of that video footage you took when your firm won an industry award.
All the world’s a stage…
Will you be making use of actors, props or special effects? The beauty of video is that you have the benefit of reinforcing your message through various means: visually, through sound and lighting, and creatively using a storyboard. 1. The Fact Finder
The Reels in Motion (RIM) team will visit your offices to identify your end aims for the footage and assess how best to get there. RIM will get to know your business and who the key individuals are – and how both will feature in the production. Over the course of approximately two hours, audience, format, duration and style will be covered to get a clear picture ahead of the actual filming day.
Cost: £240 + VAT
PLEASE NOTE: You are not obliged to move forward post-fact find, although we are confident that the RIM experience up to this point will meet your needs and will therefore prove to be the video marketing solution you’ve been searching for.
2. The Proposal
Based on the fact finding, RIM will summarise the project in a proposal which will incorporate a full brief, itemised quote and terms and conditions. You can tweak this document until you are happy with it, after which it is signed off, constituting an agreement that you are happy to go ahead with the filming.
3. Filming Day
RIM will come to your office, or the agreed location, fully-prepared to commence filming with you and/or your team. As long as there are no big surprises, the film team will work through the brief to create something within the original timeframe that will result in a sharp, effective video message for you to use within your marketing. The more time you spend with the RIM team, the more refined the product will be; however, a one-day shoot is typically sufficient.
RIM will provide you with the finalised video edit approximately 1 week after filming. Happy viewing!
